As a patent attorney I counsel you in all matters concerning intellectual property rights, especially with respect to patents, utility models, trademarks and designs. I assist you with preparing, filing and prosecution of protective rights up to grant or registration. I support you in conflicts with third parties, e.g. in opposition or nullification proceedings, litigation matters and amicable arrangements.

I have experience in diverse fields of technology. The main technical fields of my work are life science and biotechnology.

I represent you directly before the respective Offices and Courts, namely the German Patent and Trademark Office, the Federal Patent Court, the European Patent Office, the Trademarks and Designs Registration Office of the European Union and the World Property Organization. In civil actions I cooperate with attorneys at law specialized in intellectual property matters. For protection in countries outside Germany or Europe I cooperate with selected colleagues in the respective country. Moreover there is a close relationship with the patent attorney firm Otte & Jakelski in Leonberg, Germany.

My range of services include several kinds of searches (patents, designs and trademarks), preparation of advisory opinions, translations as well as consulting in matters of employee inventions, arrangements of confidentiality and cooperation agreements.
